The Mesa County Concert Association, Inc. (MCCA) is a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization dedicated to bringing to our community some of the finest national and international performing artists at a reasonable ticket price. Each September–May season, the MCCA presents a series of five or six concerts, which feature a variety of musicians, singers, dancers, and theatre groups. Membership in the MCCA is open to all and is available for the 2013-14 season for $50 (adult) and $25 (student).
In recent years, performers have included the Boston Brass, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, the Kingston Trio, Michael Martin Murphey, Simply Sinatra, the New York Theatre Ballet, Folklorico Ballet, the New Shanghai Circus, and the Church Basement Ladies.Our 2013-14 season can be viewed by clicking here.
The MCCA’s membership campaign for the coming season is held in the spring, usually in May and June. At that time, volunteer workers sell both renewing and new memberships. An application for membership can be downloaded by clicking here, or can be obtained by calling 970-243-1979.
All shows are held at the Grand Junction High School at 1400 N. Fifth St. in Grand Junction, CO at 7:30 p.m. (except for an occasional matinee). Doors open 45 minutes before curtain.
